Junior Creative Digital Designer

Are you a design graduate with a creative eye, a positive attitude and a desire to build a career as a successful online creative designer?

It may be that you have some limited retail or commercial experience, but are looking for the next step in your design career? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to come and join a large in-house design team.

As a Junior Digital Designer you will help support the wider design team with the design and creation of day to day briefs and requirements for the Online design team.

You'll be responsible for creating content across a large digital portfolio including banners, emails and onsite graphics for LPs and HPs and other key touchpoints.

We offer hybrid working with part of the week working at our head office in Leicestershire and part of the week working remotely.

About the Role

• You will be responsible for artworking appropriate design solutions within brand templates
• Using your design skills you'll be creating assets and layouts for banners, onsite graphics and emails across the Next client base.
• Create digital-ready artwork, implementing brand guidelines, styles and layouts, and working to specified deadlines.
• You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders as well as design leads across the Online Department.
• Comfortable managing own workload and working to tight deadlines
• Working closely with the commercial team to ensure your designs help drive online sales
• We have a large team of experienced designers so sharing and collaborating is essential to a successful outcome.

Software / Skills

• Proactive approach to tasks with a positive outlook
• Someone who passionate about design
• Experience of Figma/Sketch (Beneficial)
• Knows their way around the Adobe Creative Cloud
• An keen eye for detail
• A strong portfolio of existing creative work
• Working experience of a CMS is beneficial, but training will be given
